How Educational Videos Help Students Learn
How educational videos help students learn is by reinforcing concepts in visual ways. Learn how the ETI Academy works to help students learn by creating educational videos.
The ETI Academy works to bring knowledge and advice on important educational topics to teachers, students, and parents.
We enjoy making videos to help you reach your educational goals as teachers, and hope you will find these and all our educational videos informative, helpful, and fun to watch.
Educational videos benefit learning concepts because they help support student focus and mental health when it comes to making connections through learning.
An infographic we have available on my TpT store shows teachers how to guide students on how to focus on learning concepts they can apply to any subject.

Educational videos, like those by the ETI Academy, are designed to captivate students’ attention and improve confidence, making it easier for them to grasp new concepts. These videos combine engaging visuals, clear explanations, and interactive elements to cater to various learning styles.
Watch our video on the importance of what students should focus on in connection to their learning.
By breaking down complex topics into manageable segments, they prevent information overload and allow students to concentrate on one idea at a time. The videos also incorporate real-world examples, encouraging curiosity and active participation. This dynamic approach not only keeps students confident but also reinforces retention, ensuring a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
The ETI Academy YouTube Learning Channel
In 2020, we began the ETI Academy YouTube channel with the goal of introducing learning concepts in new and unique ways. Back then it was called EduKitchen – Recipes for Learning. The name EduKitchen is intended to show how learning life skills in the kitchen can be applied to the classroom. In 2022, we renamed the channel to be called the ETI Academy.
The main focus has no changed with the name – it just evolved from kitchen to classroom.
The goal in creating these videos is providing a basic understanding of such topics and their impact on education to teachers, students, and parents.
Watch our welcome video to learn more about the goal and direction we hope to bring in education.
Visit our YouTube channel to see videos that can be applied at home, in the homeschool classroom, or in educational classrooms to inspire teaching and learning.
Starting a YouTube channel has helped us to share ideas that help students and teachers connect on learning concepts. But when it came to courses, we found a more comprehensive way of offering videos and course materials to students.
Our EduKitchen website now focuses on supporting homeschooling parents in the homeschool classroom. The ETI Academy website focuses on supporting middle school teachers and beyond in the core subjects of math, science, and English language. We also cover topics in mental health, and test preparation for ESL students.
We hope after watching, and subscribing to, our videos, we can offer the support teachers are looking for. But, if the classroom may not seem where you want to be, but teaching is still your passion, consider joining the Teach:able community.
